Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction with Michael Cole, Ph.D.
A greater focus on “the now” increases your well-being, happiness and brain health. A growing body of neuroscientific research reveals mindfulness meditation-induced changes in the structure and function of the brain that are associated with (1) decreased stress, anxiety and depression, (2) improved mental clarity and cognitive abilities, and (3) significant behavioral health benefits (e.g., chronic pain, insomnia, heart disease, high blood pressure, cancer treatment and recovery). The next session of this class will begin April 2, and another session will begin June 11.
