Staff Writer (Reporter)

Responsibilities  A Staff Writer develops story ideas, conducts research, interviews, takes photos or videos, assembles background and media relevant to the story, and authors a final story for submission to the Editor. Follows up with corrections or revisions in response to feedback and as stories develop over time. Writers assist the Editor in planning and developing news and feature stories. Story topics are wide-ranging, and may include breaking news, investigation, sports, arts, and community
