Workshop: Stormwater Resource Plan
The City/County Association of Governments of San Mateo County (C/CAG) and the San Mateo Countywide Water Pollution Prevention Program invite you to attend:
Public Workshops for the proposed Draft San Mateo Countywide Stormwater Resource Plan (SRP)
The SRP is a comprehensive planning document that identifies and prioritizes opportunities to better utilize stormwater as a resource throughout San Mateo County. Through detailed analysis of watershed processes, surface and groundwater resources, and input from stakeholders, the SRP helps prioritize opportunities to mitigate flooding, recharge groundwater, improve water quality, and enhance our communities.
Learn about topics in the SRP, including: • Watershed-based stormwater planning • Hydrologic modeling • Low impact development • Green streets • Regional stormwater capture projects • Stormwater volume calculator • Municipal Regional Stormwater Permit • Land use impacts • Total Maximum Daily Loads • Mercury and PCBs abatement • Stormwater funding • Plan implementation strategies.
Talkto project staff about: • Vision and goals for strategic stormwater planning in San Mateo County • Potential and planned stormwater capture projects • Stormwater management funding Ask questions – we want to hear from you! • Do you share a vision for sustainably managed stormwater in San Mateo County? • What are challenges and opportunities for strategic stormwater management in your community? • How would you like to see the SRP used to meet the needs of your community? Which stormwater projects would you like to see implemented the most?
