The transition to the winter season not only affects the external landscape, but our internal health and emotional state as well. As the temperature decreases and the days shorten, winter is a time to fold inward, restore our foundation, and refine the tools necessary to observe our internal climate. With extended timings in poses and both cleansing and grounding breathing techniques, Winter Yin is a great complement to the more active or vigorous practices.
