Sam Castle Tours (various)
The Pacifica Historical Society Presents the Annual Sam Castle Tours
Come tour this intriguing castle built after the 1906 earthquake by Henry Harrison McCloskey, a San Francisco attorney for the Ocean Shore Land Company. Built to keep his family safe but after their family era ended it exchanged many hands, landing in the hands of Sam Mazza whom the castle was last named after and the castle is now in the care of the Sam Mazza Foundation after the passing of Sam in 2002.
Come, as the characters of times past guide you through the rooms and give colorful stories of days gone by. Food, wine and the Sam's Castle book available for purchase.
No Parking at the castle. Shuttle vans will meet tour groups at Oceana High School upper parking lot prior to tour departure time at 401 Paloma Ave.
No high heal or spiked shoes allowed
