Pier Pressure: A Celebration
Experience the lyrical side of the pier at Pier Pressure: A Celebration, on Saturday, April 28, beginning at 7 p.m. This salute to the weird and wonderful world of the pier will include a line-up of film, photography by John Bagley, oral histories by local fishermen, readings from a new manuscript on the life of the pier by Toni Mirosevich, surfing tales by Lizzy Acker and Roy Earnest, poems by the winners of the Pacifica Pier Poetry Walk, fishing stories by Ron Enriquez, as well as musical performances by local surf band, The Wander-Ins.
