The Valerie Jay five piece band is an impressive line up of Bay Area talent, a country-based roots-rock band playing Jay's original songs next to classic Americana favorites.

Statuesque songbird Valerie Jay was born in England and picked up the guitar at fifteen. Drawing influences from great country performers such as Patsy Cline and Emmylou Harris, Jay toured England. Since 2001 Jay has converted Bay area audiences with the beauty of her formidable voice and combination of traditional country and radio-ready hits. Rolling Stone's Ben Fong-Torres says, "Valerie Jay is a country belter out of England - Emmylou, Linda Ronstadt, Bonnie Raitt - Jay's right in there, mixing country and soul, her voice full of heartbreak and passion."
