Pacifica Chamber of Commerce
National Night Out
36th Annual National Night Out
Residents and businesses are invited to turn on their porch lights from 6:30p to 9pm and get out to meet their neighbors in informal block gatherings and activities. This helps create a safer and stronger community.
Many blocks, apartment complexes and businesses annually register to participate in the event. Some are having ice cream socials, some are having barbecues, and others are just having residents and owners turn on their porch lights. It is up to each block and business that participates to decide how they want to gather together with their neighbors. You don’t have to be an official neighborhood watch group to participate in National Night Out. You may be a couple of neighbors who merely want to get to know each other better and promote safety in your neighborhood.
When you register for National Night Out, staff from the Pacifica Police Department will stop by your event to recognize your participation. The event is open to all residents, blocks and businesses in the City of Pacifica. Register by Thursday, August 1, 2019 by sending an email to glasgow@pacificapolice.org.
Pacifica Police Department's Chief Dan Steidle encourages everyone to participate. For additional information contact Sergent Bill Glasgo at 650-738-7314. Register by Thursday, August 1, 2019, by sending an email to glasgow@pacificapolice.org.
