The band was founded by front man and mandolinist, Victor Skidanenko, a former banjo child prodigy. With Dave Guarente of Carolina Special on Banjo, veteran Bay Area fiddler Margaret Green, Katya Polovina on acoustic bass and vocals, and Guitarist Rob Morris.
