Michelle Pliner is a versatile vocalist that evokes a soulful sound with a modern twist. Pliner's repertoire ranges from Jazz to Pop to Brazilian. The warmth in her tone and the dynamic personality she sets forth on stage has always managed to brighten up a room. Pliner was awarded a merit based scholarship to study at the California Jazz Conservatory ( formerly known as the Jazz School in Berkeley, CA) in 2007. She also received silver prize recognition and a financial scholarship in support of her musical endeavors from the National Foundation for the Advancement of the Arts in 2008 in the Pop Voice category. Pliner is currently writing and recording songs for an EP.
Enrique Rojas is a guitarist equally comfortable in diverse genres such as Jazz, Latin, pop, rock and classical music. Born in Caracas, Venezuela, he has been exposed to Latin music since a young age, which is reflected in his sound and compositions. Rojas performs in venues all over the Bay Area and attends the Jazz Performance program at San Francisco State University.
