Learn the signs and symptoms of elder abuse. For every case of reported elder abuse, another 24 go unreported. Get trained to help stop this cycle.
Older adult abuse has been on the rise.
As San Mateo County’s older adult population continues to grow, there is more need than ever to learn how to protect older and dependent adults and help ensure everyone is able to grow older safely. San Mateo County is offering free trainings on how to prevent older and dependent adult abuse.
Trainings will be tailored to meet the needs of your audience.

Signs and symptoms of elder abuse
Signs of financial abuse in adult
populations
Senior safety and avoiding scams
Mandated reporter training
The trainings are supported by Elder and Dependent Adult Protection Team (EDAPT), a partnership between the San Mateo County’s Health System’s Aging and Adult Services, District Attorney’s Office, and County Counsel’s Office. EDAPT is funded by Measure K
