"Drawn to Paint" features a series of recent life drawings on 100 year old paper with book text done in colored ink pencils. Also showing acrylic paintings, figurative "beachheads" as well as selections from "Ballerina at the Beach"

About the Artist:
Okay Marshall has a Masters degree from San Francisco State College and has been painting the figure in narrative settings throughout her career. She uses the human image to illustrate feeling states and responses to emotional situations. These pieces represent the latest work since moving to Pacifica from Anchorage, Alaska. She has a studio at the Sanchez Art Center and is a co-director of Oceana Art Gallery in Eureka Square where she also teaches drawing and painting to adults.
