Art Class: I am Frida

Take advantage of a Prix Fixe menu for attendees: $15 for a glass of wine or beer and choice of a bowl of hearty chowder; empanada & salad, or an entree salad. We recommend that you arrive between 3 & 3:30 to enjoy this special before class begins at 4pm.

This class is truly unique - you will be photographed and learn the technique of Photo-transference to apply your portrait to canvas. We will then paint over the top of the transferred image to transform ourselves into the most recognized female artist - want to know why? Don't miss the mini-lecture about Frida and what tremendous adversities she overcame to succeed in the art world!

Don't worry, this class is designed for the novice art maker and all levels of artistic experience are welcome!
