SUMMARY:Theater: Hey\, Hey LBJ!
DESCRIPTION:The Pacifica Spindrift Players Presents: \n\n"Hey\, Hey LBJ!"\n\n \nActor David Kleinberg brings his gritty and true to life 70-minute solo piece on his year as an army combat correspondent in Vietnam. The show traces his journey in Vietnam from arriving in country as a 23-year-old supporter of the war\, then following as he slowly shifts his position as the year unfolds\, returning home to protest the war after a tragic rocket attack.\n\nNOTE: This show includes strong language\, adult themes and video of an actual attack on a Vietnamese village and is not intended for children.\n\nDavid Kleinberg is a San Francisco native whose ground-breaking solo theater work\, "The Voice: One's Man Journey Into Sex Addiction and Recovery\," ran for 18-shows at San Francisco's Exit Theater. It was a hit at the 2012 Boulder Fringe\, winning an encore performance and 18 web reviews (16 five star\, 2 four star). David is also a stand-up comedian who has appeared with Robin Williams\, Dana Carvey\, and others. He was the editor of the San Francisco Chronicle's Sunday Datebook for 14 years during a 34-year editing/writing career at the newspaper. "Hey\, Hey\, LBJ!" is written and performed by David Kleinberg\, directed by Mark Kenward and developed with David Ford. It recently finished a nine-show run at the prestigious Marsh Theater in San Francisco.
