DESCRIPTION:Easter Morning Sunrise Service Hike to Sweeney Ridge\n\n\n\nThus\, believers of all backgrounds unite on this special occasion. It takes place as the sun rises up over the hills of the East Bay at the Discovery Site on Sweeney Ridge where Gasper De Portola discovered the SF Bay. People may hike in from the east side in San Bruno or hike in from the west side at the top of Fassler Ave in Pacifica.  Depending on your walking speed\, an average walker can take up to 45 minutes or longer to make it up\, so plan accordingly and bring a flash light for the start until the sky begins to light up\, also dress warm. Suggested start time is 5:30am to 6am. Sunrise is at 6:49am\n\n \n\nThose who want to participate but can not walk the distance still can join by gathering their vehicles to caravan and be escorted by the Pacifica Police Dept. Meet at the Eureka Square Shopping Center at 6:15am. \n\n\n\nAfter the Easter Sunrise Service\, the people of Holy Cross Lutheran Church invite participants to have a magnificent Easter Morning Breakfast-hot coffee\, orange juice\, scramble eggs\, bacon\, hot rolls\, and fresh fruit.
