DESCRIPTION:Pacifica/Daly City Democrats Presents Speaker: \n\nCity of Pacifica's EDC Manager\, Anne Stedler\n\n \n\nAnne is the City of Pacifica's Director Economic Development. Anne has worked for city governments in Los Angeles\, Long Beach\, San Jose\, Los Altos and Morgan Hill before coming here.  This month she celebrates her 1st year anniversary working with Pacifica.  She states she has always been committed to community and economic development\, and is delighted to be working in Pacifica\, because of the community spirit and volunteer commitment that is so evident here. \n\n\n\nMs. Stedler is the staff advisor to the Economic Development Committee\, and as such will be able to give a knowledgeable\, fact-filled presentation\, and answer questions about the 3 big up-coming projects in Pacifica: (1) Palmetto Avenue Re-Development\, (2) the Beach Blvd and Library Project\, and (3) the Quarry Project.\nPacifica - Daly City Democrats meet monthly (except December) on the 3rd Saturday at the Sharp Park Golf Course Banquet Room. \n\n\n\nDoors open at 9:00am. Seating is between 9:00am and 9:30am. Breakfast is available and served at 9:30am. Full breakfast $12\, continental breakfast $6\, coffee only $3. No purchase is necessary.\n\n \nPacifica - Daly City Democrats' monthly programs feature presentations\, debates and forums by local\, county\, state and national political figures.\n\n \n\nOur political club has been an active community organization ever since it was founded in 1949 as the Coastside Democratic Forum.\n\n\n\nWhen the City of Pacifica was formed in 1957\, our club became the Pacifica Democrats.\n\n\n\nIn 2012 we became the Pacifica - Daly City Democrats.
