DESCRIPTION:Rotary Club of Pacifica Presents: \n\nMemorial Weekend 5k Walk/Run for Veterans\n\nThe American Legion will provide refreshments for walkers and runners on the course and Pacifica's Police Department\, along with Rotarians\, will ensure a safe route for all participants. \n\n\n\nThis fun walk/run will benefit Veterans suffering from Post\n\nTraumatic Stress Disorder(PTSD)\n\n\n\nTwo thirds of the net proceeds will go to The Pathway Home\, a nonprofit\n\nproviding residential treatment for VETS suffering from PTSD.\n\nSince 2008\, The Pathway Home has helped more than 370 Veterans\n\nand their families cope with the effects of PTSD.\n\n\n\nThe remainder will go to the Pacifica Rotary Endowment Fund (PREF)\n\nto support our outreach programs in Pacifica and other parts of the\n\nworld.\n\nThe ONLY thing keeping us from helping more of our Veterans is\n\nfunding.
