With the wonderful rain we've had\, volunteers are needed for planting on the dunes and along the bike path where we've been removing weeds for over four years. With enough people\, we can also target weed removal of invasive buckwheat and wild radish. Your help is key to increasing biodiversity and protecting the wintering habitat of the threatened Western snowy plover and other wildlife. Native plants can host up to 400% more insects by mass than non native plants. \n\n\n\nTools and supplies will be provided but volunteers are invited to bring their own shovels\, gloves and buckets as well. \n\n\n\nCome be a part of something special and honor Martin Luther King too!
